Heating and Cooling
Reliable Refrigeration and Heating Technology Begins with the Right Weld
Durability is the product of strong, spot-on, and repeatable welds. Sunstone micro welders will provide your company with precision energy control combined with the flexibility to weld nearly any metal in one small spot. Chances are our refrigeration and heating micro welding consultants can recommend an immediate solution since they’ve probably seen it before.
A Micro Welder for Every Application
You’ll find a Sunstone micro welder at work with accomplished refrigeration and heating companies such as Watlow, Durex Industries, Thermo, Backer Marathon, and more. Our welding consultants can help companies like yours find solutions for electronics welding, heating elements, wire terminations, interconnections, filters and screens, actuators, bus bars, thermocouples, and more. And we’re ready to prove our expertise everyday by providing welding samples with no obligation.

Micro Resistance - Dual Pulse CD Spot Welders
Available models are CD200DP, CD400DP, CD600DP. The dual pulse industrial capacitive discharge (CD) spot welder provides a substantially larger amount of weld energy combined with a finer range of power adjustment. As with Sunstone's other spot welders, the CDDP welders produces clean, strong welds. Pulse one heats the weld area to eliminate surface contaminants and seats the welding electrodes. Pulse two then makes a strong, secure weld. Both pulses occur within milli-seconds.

Linear DC
The Sunstone Linear DC welder is a completely unique resistance welding system with closed-loop feedback. Utilizing new patent pending technologies, the Linear DC welder has the power of a High-Frequency Inverter and the precision of a Linear DC. As mentioned, this is a completely unique product. It isn’t an HF welder since it does not require an external transformer, and it isn’t like typical Linear DC welders because it doesn’t use transistors to control the energy output. Yet, this product is able to perform the same functions as both of these technologies, and in most cases it has capabilities that exceed those of other HF or Linear DC welders – offering high repetition rates, fine low-energy control, and short or long weld times – without any of the drawbacks and inconveniences.
