The Orion Microscope on an articulating arm is a great solution for any shop that needs a closer view of their workpiece. With premium 5x optics and articulating arm mount, these optics easily slide out of the way when not in use. When connected to an Orion pulse arc welder or Sunstone Zapp™ or Zapp Plus® permanent jewelry welder™ the microscope provides a crystal clear view that can't be beat. An Orion, Zapp, and Zapp Plus welder includes software that tells the built-in shutter when to close in order to protect your eyes from the weld flash. Note: This product only provides eye protection when connected to one of the above listed welders.

I absolutely love the ease and use of this machine. I had no idea what I was doing and left it in the box before I got up the nerve to attempt it. It was so easy. I will hopefully help anyone who gets the idle error. I couldn’t find a troubleshoot for it in the manual but googled it and it’s as simple as not pushing the button until it was orange. Prior to my receiving my Orion I spoke with 3-4 different departments at Sunstone and there customer service is A+. Everyone sounded so happy to assist and help me and I’m so pleased with my purchase. Thank you!
