Micro TIG (Pulse-Arc) Grounding Leads

Grounding Leads for Orion Micro TIG (Pulse-Arc) Welders are used for grounding your workpiece in order to perform your micro TIG (Pulse Arc) welds. The Orion Micro TIG (Pulse-Arc) systems come standard with the two "Orion Alligator Clips" that are connected to 3' long leads. The additional options found here are upgrades that can help with micro welding applications that require a different clip than the standard alligator clip provided with your Orion Micro TIG (Pulse-Arc) Welder.

For most micro welding tasks, the alligator clips that ship with your Orion micro welder are sufficient. For other work pieces, the alligator clips may be too large or bulky. See if these other grounding attachments will do the job:

• Orion Alligator Clips - Banana Connector - 3' Lead - 18 AWG cables (2 count)
  These come standard with all pulse arc welding systems. Great for a replacement of your existing clips, or for use creating your own custom attachments.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Orion Tack Alligator Clips - Spade Connector - 3' Lead - 10 AWG cables (2 count)
  Set (2) of Alligator clips with thicker wire gauge(10Awg) used with Orion systems that offer Tacking functions. Used in a resistance weld configuration to make a small tack weld prior to welding. Cannot be used in the Arc setting or can cause damage to welding system. Attaches via spade connection.
  
  
  
  
• Orion Tack+ Alligator Clips - Spade Connector - 6' Lead - 10 AWG cables (2 count)
  Similar to the Orion Tack Alligator clips but longer( 6ft instead of 3ft). For use with Tack function on Orion welding systems. Larger gauge wire allows for more current to flow to the weld site allowing for stronger tack and larger materials to be used. Not for use in Pulse arc welding mode.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Orion Precision Clip - Banana Connector - 3' Lead - 18 AWG cables (1 count)
  The smallest and most precise alligator clip available. Ideal for small delicate parts and pieces. Prevents damage or scratching of pieces due to small smooth arms on the clip.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Orion Crosslock Tweezer - Banana Connector - 3' Lead - 18 AWG cables (1 count) AKA Cross Lock
  A simple tweezer that opens when pressed and holds pressure on your part when released. Ideal for holding small, precise parts without having to continue to apply pressure like in a standard tweezer.
  
  
  
  
• Orion Jump Ring Pliers - Banana Connector - 3' Lead - 18 AWG cables (1 count)
  Plier designed to hold and apply pressure into closing a jump ring. Each jaw has a small groove cut into it to center and hold the jump ring. When the jump ring is placed properly the pressure applied to the plier closes and apply pressure to joint creating the ideal conditions for welding the joint closed.

  Third hand clamping system helps to hold intricate pieces during setup for welding. No grounding wire is included, but an alligator clamp can be attached to make the 3^rd hand grounded.

  A small plastic circle with a copper plate inside. Ideal for setting pieces on the copper to provide a grounding path. Pieces sit naturally but are grounded.

  A cross lock tweezer designed with small curves in the end to hook the inside of a ring and hold it steady. Ideal with working with a ring as the tweezer centers, hold, and grounds the ring without any damage to the ring, while still giving access to entire outside of the ring
