The Sunstone High Force Opposed Weld Head

The pneumatic cylinder is compatible with any air compressor that can deliver 60psi or more, and includes a pressure regulator for fine tuning. The travel speed of the vertical motion can be adjusted using the included flow control valves. An adjustable magnetic reed switch can automatically trigger a weld once the head moves into the desired position; or users may choose to trigger the weld manually using the included secondary foot pedal that attaches to the back of the welding power supply.

During manufacturing, Sunstone uses parts and materials sourced from U.S. companies whenever possible. In some instances, parts and materials may be sourced from outside the U.S. due to availability and cost. Unavoidably, recent tariffs have increased the cost of parts and materials.
To offset the increased cost in manufacturing, beginning May 1, 2025 Sunstone is adding a modest surcharge to affected products. The surcharge for this product is 64.78 and has already been added in to the purchase price. We will continue to monitor tariff costs and will happily adjust these down or eliminate them all together if possible.
